For founders, CEOs and senior leaders at a threshold where the way they lead must change.
The challenge often looks strategic. Underneath it sit harder questions: who you have become in the role, what you are still holding, and what leading now asks of you. The Executive Leadership Journey is a confidential space to see those questions clearly, understand the patterns shaping how you lead, and grow into what the next chapter requires.
What worked at an earlier stage is now being applied to an organisation that needs something different from you.
A new role, greater complexity or a shift in responsibility is asking you to rethink familiar assumptions, relationships and ways of holding authority.
Achievement is giving way to deeper questions of responsibility, meaning, impact and what is worth serving.
Every journey is built around the threshold you are facing. Most draw on three kinds of work.
Confidential one-to-one work with a Luminous practitioner who has held the seat you are in and is rigorously trained in leadership development, human transformation and contemplative practice.
The work begins with the reality of the role and the challenge in front of you, then goes beneath it to the assumptions, relationships and patterns shaping how you lead.
Meet the facultyEach session starts with what is live: the decisions in front of you, the people around you, and the leadership situation you are actually in. The deeper work happens through those challenges rather than instead of them.
An annual engagement, with sessions every two weeks, pausing around your holidays. Most are built around crossing a particular threshold, and many continue well beyond it.
Detailed notes after every session, yours to return to. They also create the longitudinal record through which patterns become visible.
The recurring themes that no single conversation shows, surfaced across sessions, assessment and reflection.
Assessment from your team and other instruments builds a fuller picture of how you lead and the impact you have. This can include how your meetings run, inside and outside the business, and what they reveal about the way authority and attention move through the organisation.
Time in your environment, including conversations with those you work alongside. What a leader describes and what a team experiences are rarely the same.
Where it helps, the work extends into team workshops and the facilitation of planning sessions.
The work begins with a conversation: one hour, confidential, with a senior Luminous practitioner, about the journey you are considering.
If it feels right on both sides, a second session follows, without charge. An annual engagement is a long commitment for both parties, and neither of us should make it on the strength of one conversation.
